Hi, I am Stu Hughes, but mainly go by Seedy. I am 26 years old, #blind, #neurodivergent, and live in the Northeast of England. I am a live DJ for Galaxy Radio (@wfr) and my shows include 2000s at Two and Hughes in the House. My personal brand is Seediffusion, a combination of Seedy and Rediffusion, a historical television relay service in the UK. Note: Stu Hughes is not my given name, it is a name I've chosen for myself as a replacement for my unwanted first and last name, which I never gave out online. I love to play video games, especially retro games from the 90s and 2000s; my favourite genre is fighting games, especially #StreetFighter! I basically love anything from the 2000s; it's my favourite decade. I like many different types of music, including heavy metal, EDM, Hip-hop, eurobeat and house. I am an all round nerd who loves technology, maths, science, and virtually all other things that geeks and dweebs love. My signature catch phrase is sweet puberty!

I took that old vbns-ao2 thing that was an update of the original virtual Braille 'n Speak project made by @tspivey@dragonscave.space, fixed errors, squashed bugs, and updated it to run on modern Python 3. No more of that I329 shit with Window-Eyes either. https://github.com/seedy60/BSpeak95

The existence of Eurovision implies the existence of Eurosound, Eurotouch, Eurosmell and Eurotaste.

Big Brother may be a trashy reality TV show, but its theme tune slaps like a motherfucker.

Looking at the date/time converter in the Windows calculator (calc.exe). It has options for microseconds, milliseconds, seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks and years. Interesting jump from weeks to years, no months option.

RE: @itvnews@flipboard.com

I'm still at least 95% confident this deal won't go through, but enjoy your *independent* television while you still have a chance.

I checked to see if NVDA 2026.1 fixes the long standing issue where it freaks out if there's too much output in the command line so you don't have to. The answer is no. To test this, I wrote a simple script that floods the terminal by printing the letter V 10000 times on a continuous loop. All I could do was sit and watch as the screen reader choked, spluttered and stuttered for a few minutes. Eventually I had to put the poor thing out of its misery. Honestly, the fact that I was able to paralyze my screen reader with just two lines of Python is just mind blowing. Edited to remove cybersecurity remarks as they were il-judged.

Loving this rclone/WinFSP thing I have going on that means my OneDrive is mounted as a Q: drive. Not a conventional way of using OneDrive, but hey, it works and means I don't have to put my system within a thousand feet of a Microsoft account.

You join me on the other side of a successful Windows 11 23H2 reinstall. Yeah, I know, 23H2 is 3 years old bla bla bla. But at least it boots properly, doesn't disable access to your C drive, etc. Bluetooth doesn't natively work properly on this version of Win11 for some reason, so before the reinstall, I used a program called Driver Store Explorer to find and extract the bluetooth chip's driver files. After the reinstall, I simply located the backed-up driver files, right clicked the .inf file, clicked install, restarted the PC for good measure and boom, fully working bluetooth! Fuck your minimum system requirements and the falling-apart Boeing 737 they flew in on!

Because of some recent fuckery with my Amazon account, I had to make a new one, and thus a new knight manager. My new player number is 4722646. I also have the Knight Manager Chat app installed.

You need a verification code to log into your Amazon account, but the email refuses to arive. Junk/spam folders? Not there either. Seems Amazon can send physical deliveries but not electronic mail.

@daygar@tweesecake.social @alexchapman@vee.seedy.cc I haven't played KM for ages either; good thing my Amazon account is linked. I made the fatal mistake of not doing that the first time I played, stopped playing for a while, and came back to find that all my shit had been wiped.
