The summer before my senior year of hs, i got stung in the leg by some sort of jellyfish that was worse than the norm. It felt like somone stabbed a knife in my leg & then my leg went numb. I swam back just using my arms & every time i got hot for the next 3mo the site of the injury swelled back up. Didnt care for the ocean after that #monsterdon

Replying to

@heavydishongry@mastodon.social LED headlights are brutal. Ive got an astigmatism in my left eye* & astigmatisms do not process LED #tvmysteries *and cataracts in the right. Eye dr said "well, you should be legally blind but they're evening each other out somehow so in daylight you're clocking almost 20/20 so carry on while you can"

(a) I'd mentioned a gma's attempt at growing orchids for $ and the DFCS atty asked "so was she a Nero Wolfe fan? [Quite possibly]
& (b) we had a couple in for a will with the last name Goodwin

@heavydishongry@mastodon.social She got sick & almost died at 8 1/2 so we're both thrilled & stunned with almost 18. Oh, gsd is cautious because the beagle beat her up like day 2 after I brought home the gsd home as a puppy to establish herself. It worked well. #tvmysteries

"An hour goes by quickly"
Eh it depends.
Lunch break? Too fast
Napping? Very fast
Watching a favorite show/reading a book/visiting with friends? Quite fast
Visiting with family you don't like? Very slow
Waiting on your movers who were supposed to be here 3 hours ago? Not going by at all
