I'm either watching the two Bad Guys movies this weekend, or I'm watching "The Conversation" and then "Enemy of the State".
It depends entirely upon which first film I find first.
I got a random picture of a dog texted to me. My instincts say I should text them back and say "Wrong number!" but my cold intellect says this may be an attempt to confirm that my phone number can receive texts.
It's a little distressing when Google Photos tells you you're nearing capacity, so you select 100 images to delete...and free up a whopping 10 MB.

I feel like an unpleasant part of growing up is learning there are a lot of people out there with deep problems who you're not going to be able to help at all.

It's pretty damn flattering when a guy who you met at FCL but who, objectively, you didn't really get to interact with all that much, seems to be excited by the idea of seeing you again.
Told a local I edited a two-page document for gratis that I had finished it on April 18. Not even a Thank You. So I won't be editing for him again...or, if I do, it certainly won't be for free.

I don't know how this happened, since I definitely don't have a Prime membership, but I placed an Amazon order on May 2 and it arrived the next day (i.e. Sunday). I heard my doorbell ring but I didn't even realize it was my order being delivered, because Amazon is -never- that fast around here.
Day 1 wasn't awful, but still sucked on principle.

I had an issue like this with a Google phone some time ago, and I ended up needing to get it entirely replaced.
2/3 of the 'ex-boyfriends' from FCL I've barely heard from since the con. This is disappointing, but unsurprising. I'd be lying if I said I had kind of hoped for more.
OTOH, 1/3 has been doing a not great, but good job of keeping in touch. Also the one I cared about the most, so that's a win.

"All of Us Strangers" - Beautiful but unexpectedly devastating. I highly recommend knowing as little as possible about it before going in.
Written and directed by Andrew Haigh of "Looking", and featuring Andrew Scott from "Pride" and "Blue Moon" and Paul Mescal of "Hamnet". So, you can't go wrong.
Watched "The Life of Brian" and "Network" over the weekend. In a strange synergy, both films that focus on (non-)messianic figures that are ultimately crucified, in a manner of speaking, for their perceived sins.
"Network" was an interesting one. I'm going to need to think about that a bit.
