Many thanks to @mellifluousbox@mastodon.social for our strong panel and to @bjoernsta@eimsbuettel.social and #SaveSocial for the opportunity to present @eurosky.social at #2mr yesterday. The overlap in challenges was obvious…and so was the alignment on where collaboration makes sense. I went home feeling quite hopeful for an open social web beyond BigTech and the engagement economy :)

Wir setzen gerade für @eurosky.social eins auf. AppView kann kostenintensiv sein, je nachdem wie viele User du serven willst. Das gleiche gilt aber für große Mastodon-Instanzen.

@mathias Eurosky is a tech provider that currently offers account hosting for ATProto accounts. So you can have a Eurosky account and then use apps like Bluesky, Flashes, Tangled, etc. So the Eurosky PDS doesn't rely on Bluesky (the app). Bluesky runs a relay and an app view for their app. And they ingest content from the Eurosky PDS. So in a sense they depend on Eurosky :)
