Three years ago, an illegally constructed #logging bridge across the Highwood River in #Alberta sparked one of the largest grassroots campaigns to protect the Eastern Slopes of the Rocky #Mountains in recent history. Today, the proposed #clearcut, covering the equivalent of 1,500 soccer fields, is before the Federal Court, and recent #flooding may have changed the clearcut's future. @mathowie@xoxo.zone this imagery also recalls Liber that is a name for Dionysos in Greece. When Dionysos is nearby, the locks of prison doors fail, and the manacles and chains fall off of the imprisoned ones. Dionysos was pictured as having the face of a woman.
