Beehiiv - VC-funded, all-in-one. Beware VC incentives.
Patreon - don't do it. It's a trap

News is not a collection of facts. The world is infinite with facts. News is chosen by someone because the writer or organization thinks it is important, because the hurricane report might save your life, or a council vote changes what your kid gets taught
And even worse, 1440 isn't a news org. It AGGREGATES journalism other orgs do

I agree WordPress is great for so many things and Automattic have been exemplary stewards.
It's a fantastic swiss army knife, but it's not graceful at membership-centric paid publishing. That's why we built Outpost around Ghost, not WordPress.
Your first three items also apply to Ghost and we're trying to fill in #4

But it's not clear AI can copyright anything.
So when Drake makes a copy, he calls it the original and then he can DMCA the AI original as a derivative work, thus upending time and causality because copyright

Just to be clear I'm not a WordPress hater. I founded and still run a content recommendation company Contextly, where the majority of customers are on WordPress using our WordPress plugin.

While at it, get a passport card. Good ID for almost everything including flying (incl REAL ID) and bars, doesn't have your address. Gets you across land borders with Canada and Mexico.
It's $30 extra.
If you already have a passport, you can just have them send you one for 30 bucks. No new application needed.
