Wuthered some Heights with @therivercrow@bardicperspiration.club and it was fiiiiiine on a visual basis but a bit of a letdown otherwise. Where was the red PVC dress we saw in the trailer? And there were decidedly too few ghosts.

I need Ghost Cathy roaming the moors dammit.

I've been really enjoying the NPR Tiny Desk Concerts as they introduce me to music I often haven't heard before or am reappreciating in a new format.

The Kronos Quartet blew my mind, not just for their musicality and fun, but also because of their radical support of protest and commissioning music to be shared for free with anyone who wants to play it. Check 'em out.

I live under a US airbase flightpath and I keep wanting to run outside and shake my fist at all the loud planes in the sky today.

Fucking piss off you war machines!

Eternally grateful that vaccines exist and I can access them. Much like my appreciation for @therivercrow@bardicperspiration.club who is cooking pizza so we can collapse on the sofa and feel sore while our immune system gets to work.

So I'm planning on changing my full IRL name (like the whole thing) and I randomly mentioned it to some work colleagues today. Beyond a bit of initial "wut?" pauses as they parsed what I was saying, they were fairly unfussed which is good.

Now I need to actually do the thing. Halp!

Happy Easter to whatever monstrosity this is in Co-op. Yes I did buy one.

Two things I didn't think I'd say today:

1. You know that mad musician who made a synth organ out of furbies? Yeah he's the UK eurovision entry this year.

And 2. It's actually quite good and a bit subversive. Singing in German, mocking Britain and the music video showing him heading to Europe. I'm here for it.

(Saying this while boycotting the actual live airing of Eurovision because obvs)

@lich_silvae@masto.fediverse.games I don't like it and I want to get off 😫

@therivercrow@bardicperspiration.club Let's get on with it then ❤️ Right here with you.
