For once, I don’t really have words.
Thanks to Apple, so many of you, and most of all my insanely talented partners @maarstad@mastodon.social and @ifrins@mastodon.social.

@imyke@myke.social Annoying suggestion… pool 3 relay hosts and just expense Dropbox Advanced (15GB for $864/yr). That’s +$500/yr more than separate individual plans, but if you are going to spend just 10 hrs per year futzing with NAS or explaining how others can sync, or screwing up one file transfer, or researching upgrades and backup… it pays for itself.
Think of it like 10 extra hours with your kid or on the business.

@marcoarment ha! That’s even worse than the non-ownership version of “the price is changing”

@silber@mastodon.social @atpfm@mastodon.social 🤨 what’s so wrong with that? We need to make it clear which features are about to stop, for those relying heavily on them.

@silber@mastodon.social I’ll check again for the Weekly plan.
Many (most?) users rely on our alerts to take and make flights. Silently lapsing those alerts is not good for users – we know this.
I disagree this is spam. But I’ll check again on Weekly.
Replying to
@silber@mastodon.social ok for the sake of argument, let’s grant that a company decides they should send this alert.
How would you write it
Replying to
@silber@mastodon.social Are Apple’s emails that your plan is ending marketing spam?
I’m open to hearing how you’d write the alert differently. Otherwise we’ll have to respectfully agree to disagree.
Replying to
@silber@mastodon.social honestly actually legit interested in how you would write them. If you’ll appease me.

@silber@mastodon.social yep. Like I said, gotta play the game on the field. Especially when the ref is too.
