US urged to investigate Israel’s Ben-Gvir for alleged war crimes
The Hind Rajab Foundation says it has filed a request for prosecution in the US against Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s far-right national security minister, “for his involvement in war crimes, acts of genocide and direct incitement to genocide”.
The nonprofit group said it submitted the request to the US Department of Justice ahead of an expected visit by Ben-Gvir to New York City in early July.
