mastodon 4.7.3The vision of the Research Software Alliance (ReSA) is that research software and those who develop and maintain it are recognised and valued as fundamental and vital to research worldwide.
We’re delighted to welcome @ResearchSoftEng@mastodon.social as a Bronze Sponsor of the International Research Software Conference! 🎉
The Society of Research Software Engineering (https://society-rse.org/) was founded on the belief that a world which relies on software must recognise the people who develop it. The Society works to increase software skills in research, promotes collaboration between researchers and software experts, and supports academic career paths for RSEs.
A new ReSA blog post, Research Software Engineers in the Age of GenAI: Same Value, Changing Practice (https://www.researchsoft.org/blog/2026-05-28/), explores how RSEs use GenAI to increase their capacity in both software engineering and research, and visualize this evolution.
