Joshua Cripps / Natural Landscape Photography Awards

Grand Landscape, Highly Commended. Hidden Gem. “I took this photo while flying over New Zealand’s Fiordland National Park, one of the most spectacular landscapes on Earth. I shot it in hazy, late-afternoon light, the layers of the fjords stretching off toward the horizon.”

Voice of the Ash Forest. Silver Winner, Best Portrait. “After the devastating wildfires of summer 2024, I visited Jasper to witness the desolation. In the scorched landscape, where ash covered everything, only a few animals had returned. Among them, common ravens were some of the first to reclaim the land. This one, perched on a charred tree, was calling out, as if mourning the loss of its kingdom.” Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.

Hanneke Van Camp / Natural Landscape Photography Awards

"Projects, Winner. Living Landscapes. “Ever since I first traveled to Sápmi, I’ve felt deeply connected to its landscapes and culture. It has become my part-time home—a place of incredible beauty but also of fragility, facing threats from climate change and exploitation. Through this project, I hope to share its unique diversity and invite others to reconnect with nature and the values it carries.”"

Radiant Bond. Winner, Wide Angle, and Underwater Photographer of the Year 2025. "A mother humpback whale accompanies her calf to the surface for its first breath early in the morning. The youngster is releasing a few bubbles as it rises, perhaps because it is still learning to control its breathing, or it is simply experimenting with its own body."
