Watching a guy play guitar on YouTube and suddenly I'm like "Honey, you need to turn that reverb down and drive that sound a little more" (later on, I get the second half of that wish).
That never happens! I guess I've been paying attention to guitar tones a lot, subconsciously.

This resonates so much with me because this is how I went from being a very bright kid to an adult with mediocre skills.

Why do things this way? Well, artists don't get paid for streams on Bandcamp - that site is strictly a store and streaming is there to help make sales. But if I stream on Qobuz, they get paid a little for that.
Also, Qobuz streams get scrobbled so they get extra visibility on places like last.fm. It's not a lot but it's better than nothing.
