Loved this episode, I've spent time in Toronto, if I were Hu'mahn I tjink that's where I'd be from. So many fun little references.

@drlatigo@spore.social yes, it was totally fan service wall to wall, especially season 3. But S3 was done quite a bit better I thought. And it wasn't just about reliving old stories, it was about the, ahem next-next generation. The way it ended with Seven finally getting her own ship, I think it could finally be a cast and crew that could have a show set in the future of main timeline and actually tell new stories.

In terms of moving the story forward into the future, did you watch all of Picard S3?

Not sure what you mean, I know they did some explaining about how Eugenics wars inconsistencies, so that seems fixed. I guess you mean Irish Unification (which is not happening that soon, maybe in 10 years) could have been delayed by Temporal Cold War effects as well.
