You know you’ve been playing too much Black Flag Resynced when you start getting funny looks at work because you’ve been humming sea shanties all day…
It’s tiresome but they know the Press falls for it, every time
#NowPlaying Exploring Birdsong - Every House We Built
Earworms run all the way through this album of superbly crafted pop #music with proggy/heavy overtones. I absolutely love it, and it is sure to be highly placed in my "Best of 2026" list come the end of the year.

The Nerd Reich will lay into him savagely over this. They think they are champions of humanity's future, so hearing a spiritual leader challenge that will be enraging. But standing up and speaking out in defence of humanity is precisely what spiritual leaders should do.
#NowPlaying Phideaux Xavier - Automoto Animus
First album in 8 years from this guy, and the first album credited to his full name, rather than just "Phideaux".

And this is _after_ the multitude of accounting tricks that they employ to make the numbers look better.
#NowPlaying Henry Parker - The Dark Peak
"A journey into the gritstone landscape of the northern moors of the Peak District National Park...taking in the sounds of curlews, lapwings, grouse and the bitter winds that drive over these high and lonely tops."
"Ostensibly a solo #guitar record, the #music here is a reflection of what it feels like to hike long distances and camp in wild, solitary places."
#NowPlaying Solstice - New Life (2026 remaster)
Good to have a physical copy of this album at last. Such a talented, underrated band.
