Finding your pick among the traditional #Cartier Tank has always been tricky. The Must with vermeil cases (silver coated with gold) are tempting thanks to their lower prices and their design sometimes featuring striking red dial or trinity (3-tones gold) dial. But the plating wearing out is definitely a long-term issue to consider. The steel one mitigates that. The solid gold Tank Louis solves that at obviously a much bigger budget. #watches #watchesofmastodon
My thoughts on the #AudemarsPiguet x #Swatch collab being SISTEM51 pocket watches: disappointing and weird. I don’t get why they didn’t go for the low hanging fruit of plastic quartz wristwatches that look like Royal Oaks. It is not like they would have ever competed with actual ROs. Moonswatches, Scuba Fifty and in another category of price Must de Cartier have all proven that making cheaper versions of high end best seller doesn’t really hurt sales or reputation. #watches #watchesofmastodon
Decades of regulatory capture, underfunding equipment maintenance, understaffing security and control have resulted in so many flight accidents. It only took a demented irresponsible POTUS playing with budget squeeze and people’s lives to trigger this and likely many more #uspol #airflight #canada #usa. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/livestory/air-canada-crash-la-guardia-airport-9.7138217
I recently attended a concert of #ChRocktikal, the rock band led by Siyeon from #Dreamcatcher. They were funny and the musicianship was actually impressive. An evening well spent.
I was never really sure whether the #Autofister name was officially endorsed by #Hololive to describe this duo but I guess now it is. The CCGG/Autofister Network show truly felt like a fever dream 😅.
