Ahoy! We have temporarily limited the federation with the instance mastodon.social, due to their recurring issue with spam accounts. Limiting means you can still interact with users from that instance, and see their messages if you already follow them, but the rest of the messages will be invisible to you. Thanks to those of you who have quickly reported the spam they encountered.

Please take the time to read our guidelines to better understand what we wish to see (maybe also what we don't tolerate): https://mastodon.pirateparty.be/about/more
We would recommend you to write a short toot with the hashtag #introduction in order to introduce yourself. You could then pin this toot on your profile. This would be nicer for those you follow than a completely empty profile.
If you have any question, don't hesitate to ask them! :)
Our instance has blocked the following instances/domains:
-domain "natehiggers.online", they host a fediverse instance "pl.info.natehiggers.online" and a blog "info.natehiggers.online" (reasons: racism, misogyny)
-instance nicecrew.digital (nazism, publicly disclosing report)
-also domain *.activitypub-troll.cf (spam) - we suspended it some weeks ago but forgot to disclose it here
