Friday #cocktail: the Bronx. Gin, dry and sweet vermouths, orange juice, and orange bitters. Rather more refreshing than a typical Martini. Suggested by my friend Lena.

Trying out some of the hardware I picked up at MIT Swapfest today. A new memory card for my //gs (really just needed one chip but the price was right), a Booti disk emulator, a A2CDVI adapter to give my //c an HDMI port, and a mouse for the //c. #retrocomputing #mitflea

Friday #cocktail: the Blüdhaven. Gin, Aperol, dry vermouth, and Peychaud’s bitters. From “Gotham City Cocktails” by André Darlington. On the drier side but pretty good.
Friday #cocktail, almost St. Patrick’s edition: Irish Maid. Irish Whiskey, St. Germain, lemon juice, simple syrup, and muddled cucumber. Slàinte!

And wrapping up with a test on my laptop, using a Wombat USB-ADB adapter. Works! This is the model keyboard that shipped with the Apple //GS, and that's where it'll end up in a few days, along with the ADB mouse in the photo which I cleaned a couple of weeks ago. 6/6
Friday #cocktail: Gin, Grand Marnier, and kirschwasser in equal parts. Not bad, bit of an edge so maybe I’ll try again with a bit of simple syrup.
