Open post Phil Baker @philbaker1@fosstodon.org · 6mo ago Replying to @carlrichell@fosstodon.org <p>Went to the capitol today to meet Sen Ball, Rep Paschal, Rep Ricks, and three additional Denver constituents with concerns about SB26-051's effect on open source software, privacy, and security.</p><p>It was an hour and a half meeting that could have gone longer if it weren't for the building being shut down.</p><p>Our concerns were heard and shared. The next step is exchanging and discussing specific language changes to the bill including an exemption for open source software.</p> @carlrichell@fosstodon.org Thank you so much for your efforts Carl.
