@sev possibly won’t help you much (because of language) but @ki_und_koffein is a very cool little format walking and talking the middle ground.

@TypeMedia@typo.social If you still need beds: I am in Helsinki for work from April 1 to 4 and happy to share my apartment while I am away. Fine for 2-3 students who are very good friends or two students who are a couple; and of course definitely fine for one student (it’s a small apartment with fairly little privacy; one small double-bed, one couch to sleep on).

Redoing https://www.youthpolicy.org was utterly joyful, but one decision was really, really hard: to leave WordPress behind. We now use Craft, https://github.com/craftcms, but with a heavy heart. WordPress has become too convoluted and is heavily stuck between its roots and its ambitions. I have used WordPress since their early days, and all our and my other sites still run on it. But Craft is a joy to use, even for a complex site, and we might – over time – transition all our sites over.

@christowski Tresorit works well, but is developing function creep; Nextcloud is okay (and open-source), a bit noisy but possible to tame; Owncloud is the slower and more conservative sister (in a good sense). We run both on our own servers, which is easy enough. Both integrate reasonably well into MacOS (for a while they struggled with the switch to Apple Silicon, now that’s okay).

@_MrJasonW @tim @caseyliss I am happy for the normals in your life, but the very normal grannies in my life, and my friends who don’t see very well, and my friend with shaky hands because of Parkinson, all would love a word
