Gags like this are just not possible any more in Apple's pre-recorded events setup.
I wish we would have gotten this style of destructive buttons in alerts in the final version of iOS 26.
I hope you will be able to add the Siri Chatbot to an iMessage group with iOS 27.
I just realized with this perspective how good a glass dock á la OS X Leopard would look like now with reflections and refraction. Probably would not work on iPhone due to the rounded display, but still.
Important limitation to know with the new Studio Display XDR.
This is driving me crazy. When a view controller inside a UIStackView is constrained to any layout guide, it glitches out when doing the interactive back swipe gesture. Anyone has a clue how I can fix this? I swear this is new with iOS 26. #UIKit
Some extra fun stuff: this works fine in landscape…

Converted @gamery@indieapps.space to Swift 6 language mode with 0 warnings. Cleaned out 12,000 lines of code. Made a lot of systems more robust. Fixed a ton of bugs. Added the ability to easily create a nice, varied, deterministic demo library. Great.
This would have taken me weeks on my own.
Next step was letting #Codex go over the @gamery@indieapps.space project and fix all upcoming compiler feature warnings, so I'm ready for Swift 6 now. Deleted a loooot of old code and made the app safer. Great.
RE: @viticci@mastodon.macstories.net
So they made the Pro Display XDR worse (smaller, thicker bezels, but stand included!) and gave the regular Studio Display nothing of interest?? Well, that is a downer.
So, how does this work? Is this not a massive security issue?
Seems like Apple TV's Facebook page got hacked?
This system dialog gets worse and worse each day.
Is this "Coding Tools" stuff working for anyone when using an agent in Xcode? Seems like it always asks me to specify what I mean, so the context is not being fed into it. This used to work with the previous integration and still works when selecting GPT-5 in the sidebar beforehand, but it's annoying.
We are in 2026 and it's still not possible to create a screen recording on macOS with system audio?
So, it's not just the Reminders app icon but also the App Store icon inside notifications that still was not updated to the current style. We're at macOS 26.5, Apple!
Liquid Glass really falls apart in outdoor use where the HDR edge highlights cannot fully work.
This is still a weird size for a foldable. I'll wait until we have it in hand, but I thought two iPhone Airs merged together would have been perfect.
OpenAI really needs to streamline all of their offerings.
Why are saved prompts available in Atlas but nowhere else? I have two workflows with Agent that I would like to use with prefilled variables. Can't do that in regular ChatGPT.
I want automations everywhere, not just in Codex. The web, desktop and mobile apps need feature parity. Codex on iPad when?
There's probably more stuff like this that are low-hanging fruit.
The iPad cursor highlight in the status bar is moving in the incorrect direction when using an app. It works fine on the home screen. When you move the cursor horizontally, the highlight moves vertically.
One thing that's really annoying since the Agent integration in Xcode is that using the Coding Tools, like Document, do not work reliably. When a select a whole block of code it will only tell the agent to "Document ShapeStyle+Extension.swift on line 10" when I really wanted the entire thing.
Can't wait until ChatGPT has something like Claude Cowork which can readily control your Mac to do anything. Same with deeper system integration. I want it to read/write my Calendar and Reminders.
It‘s really going to take until this year‘s releases until visionOS and tvOS get support for Icon Composer glass app icons? Wow.
Accessibility, size-adjustable UIs and flexibility are all very important but I kind of miss the early iPhone days where you could build very intricate purpose-built UIs without needing to worry about this stuff.
Will iPadOS 27 finally run with more than 35 FPS on iPad Pro again?
