The larger point I'm getting at is these things that appear to be going well--when taken to an extreme--tend to have disastrous consequences.
Like killing the em dash. *Sigh*

@16af93@wetdry.world I'm more in the camp of pug breeders/owners being willfully clueless than actively cruel.
But I'm also not a fan of animals being kept in captivity at all, especially in cities or other places where they can't roam free.
But I also eat meat so I'm a huge hypocrite in a certain sense...
