These are the same corporate bastards that are obligated to maximise returns and whose stock owners are more likely to murder you than pay a fair share of taxes. They are only thinking about the short term, and right now they are betting on white nationalist christo-fascists. Anyone who thinks that (long term) they will kick a few bucks over to free software development because it's the right thing to do doesn't understand how capitalism works.

@kimsiever@mstdn.ca This is just reassurance for investors. The government will be reminded that strikes originated when they were all illegal. Their power is undiminished when we decide we are not playing by their rules. Also, in the long term, the courts are likely to uphold our rights.
