I know we typically don’t chase numbers over here on mastodon, but I made this proclamation over on bsky and I’d be remiss if I didn’t make y’all the same offer:
If I get to 400 followers by the end of next month I’ll do an art raffle. winner gets a drawing of their OC eating a burger or something.
If I don’t hit 400 that means I win the raffle by default and one of my OCs gets the burger instead.
I don't want to apply for jobs anymore. I'm tired of applying for jobs and getting filtered by AI or told no by hiring managers. All year with this bullshit. Nothing to show for it but mental health that is worse.
Join my patreon so I can eat a burger and continue drawing my silly comics.
Please support small artists (me).

New comic page. Read the comic from the start here:
I am currently ONE free member away from 50 total members on #patreon and 9 away from 50 paid! And only $3 away from one of my target monthly earnings goals!!
If you like my #art please consider joining to support me while I keep building out my site, drawing my #webcomic, and working bit by bit on all the little projects that your support helps enable. :)
Sorry, but I am once again begging people to join my patreon and support my art if they like it. I'm looking for full time work again because things are really precarious rn. Please help me boost my patreon numbers in the meantime 🙏 Even if you just have $1 to spare it would mean the world to me.

@JenJen@mastodon.art Watched it! Very frustrating scenario. But we will keep trucking on.
Also, I asked in the youtube comments but thought it worth repeating here: any good resources for how to actually set up rarebit? Specifically on an already established site? My current one page per post is going to be untenable long term, I think.
anyone got a lead on the stock pot breaking sound the Ninja Gaiden games use? It's up there with the wilhem scream as a comfort noise and I'd like to put it into my own shit. Wondering what sound library might contain it.
I did it. I successfully moved my comic to a rarebit template. Lots of styling and such to do still, but the comic is up. I even updated a page and added authors notes.
Blog post about how to do this if you also have a pre-existing zonelets template site coming soon. It is NOT hard, however.
We hit 50 total members but I'm still $3 away from $130/month. If you like my art at all and want to support me and enable me to grow as an artist please consider joining my tip jar or executive producer tiers 🙏
I'm still without a job and the patreon money gets stretched real thin. 😔
The web comic is in color now, btw. Will it always be? idk. Maybe not. But I've been curating specific colors for a custom color palette for a while now and I want to use them so. Yeah. I hope the last three pages had enough of a gradual shift from B/W to color? I've seen other artists do that. If it didn't work that's fine lol.
New banner art for my patreon tiers. They've been without art since 2022! There's gonna be a third tier coming at some point too. ($10 monthly sticker club--I REALLY wanna do it >.>)

Thank y’all for liking and boosting my art. People don’t boost my stuff on other social platforms, so it always feels like I’m never going to find my target audience and never gonna get the right eyes on my stuff. But here? Here it feels like a lot of those eyes are already on my art. I’m grateful. Thank you.

3 patrons, and a few bucks away from a couple of milestones. If you like my art please consider me for your patronage 🙏
I can only get better at this from here. I think lol.

@AcroCatabro@mastodon.gamedev.place think I’m gonna use it as my profile pic in a few places if that’s cool :)

Boosting this again because I’m trying to save money for an old used thinkpad. And because I owed the IRS money this year. Ko-fis appreciated.

It’s wild to me that this only got 3 likes and one boost (which was me) on bluesky. If I didn’t have the numbers from on here and positive feedback from some art servers I’m in, I’d think I’d done a terrible job and that no one liked my art.

@yuki2501@masto.hackers.town that would be cool, yeah! Unfortunately, Ash isn’t a real expert and frequently mis-identifies and demolishes the wrong targets 😂 Maybe a good rival for her would be someone with higher accuracy/precision tho!

Also, please. PLEASE do not join using the iOS app. If you subscribe, please use a web browser. Not the app. Apple holds a percentage of my earnings hostage for months. There's like $20 being withheld right now that I just can't count on for anything.

That’s total members btw. Not just paid. I’d need 9 people to sub for a dollar if I wanted 50 paid subs. People joining for free is also very welcome and helpful. :)

nvm I'm really angry and resentful so I'm not working on the page today. If you want new art from me support me on patreon and go look at the backlog of stuff that's on there.
