I wasn't feeling up to running my regular Draw Steel game on Sunday, so I ran Green Oaks instead. That game was incredibly fun. My players really enjoyed it and we all got to work on our roleplaying and improv skills.
There are no dice rolls, no skills, and your character sheet fits on a 3x5 card. The rules are a not at all dense 32 pages. And the resolution mechanic is drawing cards from a poker deck.
Even though the resolution system is based on Bridge, I changed the name of the "Trump suit" to the "Key suit," because the less we say "trump" the better.
The game is CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0, and the PDF is not watermarked, so you can easily (and legally) share it with your players.
