@AusderPampa@dresden.network It's the missing Stargate! Look through it, and you can see the same world, but in another parallel-universe!🖖

@eff@mastodon.social How far has the U.S. come. I think the fear of the Stasi was not different. Sad times that the people have to fight against a minority of power-obsessed would-be rulers. I wonder how long it takes until the pressure cooker explodes.

I feel you - How about this: As long as our communication chooses judgment, humanity won’t live in peace. It starts small, especially in the Fediverse. Why waste energy on the obvious? Promote the positive loudly. Don’t be against the bad; be FOR the good. It helps you, too. Every group has good and bad—foster the good to better the world. Peace! §8-)

Allright...thinking around the corner, here comes a solution: I use Thunderbird. Installed CardBook, which has a function to extract BDays and others events, and writes it to Lighning Calendar of Thunderbird. You can choose which Cal. gets the snyc. And bc. this Lightning Cal. I chose is the Baikal one, it get's updated in Baikal Server Cal. and hence in all other subscribed Calendars. 😎 Happy new week folks & tnx again for your engagement to help me. 🖖 :underheart:

@adminmagazine@hachyderm.io It's not free to DL. I have to give Name & Mail. Why? Why not just provide the DL link, period. Of course I see the marketing behind it. But that's exactly what OS is Mastodonians are ranting about Big Tech. Do we really have to copey them? ...think a minute about it. #opensource #bigtech #privacy #justpostthelink

@Gartenammer@jit.social Thanks for you hint. Yes, just now. But it synchs not to the server. It's creating a local virtual calendar in the background, then push them to ETAR. tnx for helping!

@fuersi@mastodontech.de Hey, tnx for answering. No, not tried yet. But that means, it's extracted locally from the contacts (on GrapheneOS), not at the server level, right?

@copypasteninja@norden.social Hey Buddy. So, this isn't working, because fissify also just extracts BD's from the contacts, then shows them in the calendar on the phone. But if you subscribe to this Calendar in, lets say thunderbird, they will not be shown. You need the "Birthday" app. It explicitly CREATES new calendar entries for the BD's. The alternative with Baikal is a script on the server that reads the Contacts from the SQL DB and writes their BD's to the Calendar. §8-)
