I would say that it would be dangerous *not* to oppose such contributions no matter the scope or supposed "benefit". You could call this hyperbole, but LLMs have a well documented history of abuse of data workers. So using them is not far removed from that. And besides that, ethical concerns should always be considered in FOSS. Because if not, why are we even doing this?

But also pretty hilarious how annoyed the slop bros are about the change and how little they understand about a democratic decision. Also the texts are often suspiciously verbose 🫪

@strigga_ @tazgetroete Not all men, but always a man. Geht nicht um Generalverdacht sondern das Problem anzusprechen. Alle Herausforderungen die du angesprochen sind wichtig, aber betreffen jedes Geschlecht. Trotzdem sind es eben quasi nur Männer die die Taten begehen. Darüber muss man reden ohne auszuweichen und es als Problem akzeptieren. Und es ist ok als ersten Schritt einfach zu sagen, ja verstehe ich, ist ein Problem.

What about Android? They run on billions of devices. But they won't patch anyways. Do they get to be in the club? If you inform all of them you might as well inform everyone.
