Flock cameras are riddled with security vulnerabilities and hard-coded credentials

This morning, DDoSecrets published an exciting new dataset: Filesystem images of the partitions from an in-use Flock ALPR camera. 404 Media and Wired published a joint investigation into it. I downloaded the dataset and am now thoroughly nerd-sniped. Hackers from a collective called stegan0gram collected the data. “Why

Communities around the US are organizing to defend against ICE raids, to protest Israeli genocide, for mutual aid, and for other forms of fighting fascism. RE: @cyd@infosec.exchange

Cyd for Bluesky is here! I’ve been working on this for months, and also using it on my own account for months. Here are my settings:

- Delete posts older than 30 days unless they have at least 20 likes or 20 reposts
- Delete reposts older than 30 days
- Delete likes older than 30 days
- Delete chat messages older than 21 days

At some point I want to add Mastodon support too, but it’s slow going

@rfleschenberg@mastodon.social check out the video on Matt Pocock skills. Using a grilling session to carefully design what you’re gonna build, and to make all the technical decisions yourself, helps a whole lot. But yeah, sometimes it has floods of useless comments or markdown. I think this depends on the model you’re using. But when you notice this stuff during code review you can prompt it to improve it before merging
