Moebius² has had a busy few releases lately! Here's what's new:
✨ Collaborative ANSImation - multiple users can now co-edit animations live over a server session
🎬 ANSImation differential encoding - scene breaks and transition effects (wipe, starburst, scramble, and more) for proper ANSImation export
🐳 Docker support - run a Moebius² server without installing Node.js
🔤 TDF font preview watermark - see the filename and row height while browsing fonts
📁 TDF font subdirectory browsing - navigate nested font folders in the picker
💾 UI state persistence - panel sizes and layout survive a restart
Plus a handful of fixes: multi-font TDF files now parse correctly, frame drag-to-reorder works reliably, and a nasty colour-zero bug that corrupted saves is squashed.

Random thought #69420 of today;
Has anyone ever met their girlfriend/wife/boyfriend/husband on Mastodon similar to how people used Facebook dating?
I am not looking, just strangely curious at this point.
Please boost to get better results =)

I've just registered to do the London Memory Walk 2026, to raise money for Alzheimer's. I'll be walking around London on October 4th. It's a 5km walk, nothing terrible but the cause is great.
My dad has Alzheimer's so I'm doing it for him as well as all the other Alzheimer's patients and families.

@nuclearplayer@fosstodon.org after restarting and rerunning a search and play request, this shows.
@BrodieOnLinux@mstdn.social how did you manage to get window capture to work in OBS with Wayland? I upgraded earlier in the week, obs now doesn't seem to be able to capture windows 😅I remember seeing you did start it from the cli with some env var but buggered if I can find it now. Did I imagine that?

RE: @MastodonEngineering@mastodon.social
Woohoo just upgraded and all is looking sweet so far - thank you @MastodonEngineering@mastodon.social for making it such a breeze to upgrade with Docker! Love it.
I just wanna say that the lead singer of #Katzenjammer has the most amazing and sexy voice I've ever heard.
That is all.
@nuclearplayer@fosstodon.org hmm I've tried the latest AppImage and the AUR recommendation, and still nothing is playing.
I've enabled the Youtube and spotify plugins so I get metadata from spotify and youtube is allegedly allowing streaming, but it just sits there doing nothing except the progress bar is animated. It isn't actually playing the music at all.
This is the same behaviour I experienced with previous versions too. I've never managed to get it to play a single song.
What am I doing wrong?
