The crab apple on the village green is in blossom. It was flowering when we came to view our cottage before we bought it. I look forward to it every year. It's alive with bees 🐝 #spring #bloomscrolling #trees #nature #Cornwall

Dating advice from Sir Walter Scott:
If you're seeing someone but realise it's probably not going anywhere, don't just ghost them -

I took another look at S*b*a*k as a potential place to host it, but recoiled. It's such an odd platform.
In the end, I've gone for tried and trusted WordPress with my own domain.
Very pleased (and surprised) to discover quitebookish.com was available.
My introductory post tells you what it's all about.

@pauloldhamsnp@mastodon.scot the Reform cllrs elected in Cornwall last year have been a complete car crash. They've split with a number becoming independents and others going home to the Tories. They're completely marginalised and marginal.
