Makerspace Urbana

Repair Cafe is starting now!

Tomorrow! ART!

Reminder that Card Collage is tomorrow in the IMC sun room upstairs from 1-3!

Get out of your house before the snow locks you in. See some sunshine, do an Art Thing, hang out with your fellow local crafty humans.

Our last Repair Cafe was awesome. So many people came and we repaired most things; including a battery from a Nissan Leaf

Stained glass class photos continued

We had a busy few days. But highlight was Kari's stained glass class.

We are partnering with Prism Studios on this fun event.

The Repair Cafe is going to be at the IMC's Community Night on
Tuesday (in addition to the usual one on next Thursday).
Come in and see what's happening at the IMC!

Come make a magic wand with us and take it home to cast spells.

This is a reminder that the Makerspace's monthly leadership meeting is tomorrow at 7:00 pm in the Makerspace. We discuss how we run the Makerspace, and our goals for the future.
Everyone is welcome to attend and offer input.

We're doing good and our Repair Cafe's leader fantastic for doing this

It’s getting close to Valentine’s Day and you know what’s a great gesture? A personal Hand-Made card from you to the one you love!

Come to the IMC and make a card using the materials and tools from the Makerspace. We will be upstairs in the sunroom for light and good vibes.

Saturday January 24th 1pm to 3pm for a collage card class.

After some fun holidays we are back to our normal schedule. See everyone Thursday 6-9pm and Saturday 11am-2pm ❤️

Happy Holidays everybody,
I hope you have fun things planned for this week.
The makerspace will be close Thursday Christmas day, and on the next Thursday, New Years day. We plan to be open both Saturdays, 23rd and 3rd, like normal.
So, Enjoy your Holidays, but if you're looking to get away from the hectic holiday din, stop in Saturday 11am-2pm

Reminder. We have open hours and Repair Cafe tonight in the Makerspace. Come by at 7pm and get your stuff fixed.

We had a minor milestone the other day. Three 3D prints were going at the same time and all of them completed successfully.

We got a donation of a bunch of scrap paper. If you want to make something with a bunch of paper stop in.

Today Thursday the 19th at 7pm is our repair cafe!
Come visit us in the basement of the IMC to get help with repairing things from around your home. We may not fix everything, but we are willing to give it a try!

We have an upcoming Urbana Arts event! Paint a parasol with us Sunday March 22nd
