realisation: I seem to get interested in pioneering tech, and not so much in overmature 'streaming' or 'realism' layers of the tech.
I love observing ideas which are different, futuristic, abstract or minimalistic.

interesting paradox: decentralisation (like Activitypub, Radicle-dev, Gemtext, Janusweb) makes networks more resilient but also invisible.
Security by obscurity.
Go for it..go make your centralized visible fork..good luck with that.
Mastodon has never cared to be a central player...the point is webfinger + activitypub.

ooofff...I've got my AI-caution pill for today.

I do apply the 'retrieve instead of synthesize'-idea in my daily (local) llm-as-dictionary workflow...i like them as dictionaries and encyclopedias...too bad there isn't a single equivalent textfile of that data (which I could grep instead).
Would be cool though: all wikipedia titles + summaries in one textfile.
