Hey chooms!

We know the world’s been feeling like a high-stakes anime plot lately (where’s the skip button when you need it, right?), and it’s totally natural to want to talk about what’s going on. Your voices matter, and we’re all about supporting each other!

But just like how some of us need a “Spoiler Warning” before a major plot twist, others might appreciate a little heads-up before diving into heavy political discussions. A quick Content Warning (CW) or a hashtag like #Politics can go a long way in helping folks who might need a breather.

Think of it like putting a “Mature Content” label on your post. It’s not about silencing or censoring the conversation, but about giving everyone the chance to engage (or not) on their own terms. The Fediverse is our shared digital home, and we want it to stay as welcoming as a cozy hackerspace.

Thanks for being awesome and looking out for each other

(P.S. If you’re unsure how to add a CW, most clients make it super easy. Just look for the little “CW” button or option when you post!)

Yo, dear chooms!

This is the entire Cortex Implant team reporting in straight from our HQ! The year is charging toward the finish line like an overclocked mecha in its final episode, and before it hits that season-finale explosion, there’s one thing we absolutely need to say: thank you

Thank you for being part of this small but seriously wonderful community. Because of you, this place has turned into a proper little safe space—filled with awesome people from all over the world. Friendships have formed, projects have taken off, and honestly? It sometimes feels like we’ve created our own tiny universe here. And that’s just... wow :cyberdon:

Let’s carry that energy into next year—together, creative, chaotic in the best way, and always supportive of each other. Here’s to more quests, more cool moments, and more with each other instead of next to each other

See you in the new year, you brilliant creatures. Stay cyber! :cyberalien_party:

Yo chooms,

we have a small request for you today. We know that the current political situation is affecting many people, and it is completely understandable to want to share thoughts, opinions, or experiences about it in the Fediverse.

At the same time, there are people in our community and beyond who consciously choose to avoid political content. For some, these topics can be stressful or triggering. While the Fediverse and its clients offer various filtering options, these are not always easy to set up or fully reliable.

For this reason, we kindly ask you to use a Content Warning (CW) or an appropriate hashtag when posting political content, whenever possible.

Please understand this not as a requirement, but as a request for consideration. Small efforts like this help make the Fediverse a more welcoming and safer space for as many people as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and for being mindful of one another.

Soon! 🌑

Beep beep, is back online.

We've completed the maintenance work!

For the curious, we've done a bit of tidying up with databases and media storage.
So nothing major.

Insert April Fools' joke here

Hey chooms, we would like to inform you that CORTEX IMPLANT will likely have a bit of a hiccup in the next few hours.

We are conducting maintenance work on the server in the background.
