@farbel@mas.to @samlitzinger@journa.host A thing we find strange when compared with home in the UK is the delay between election and taking office. Here the morning after the election if the PM loses the removal men are at 10 Downing Street moving him out so the new person can move straight in. By the night of the next day we have a new Government in place. This is in part because we have a theoretically independent civil service who remain in place; at least for a while!

@aaron.rupar Rutte is desperately trying to keep the moron sweet in the hope that it will keep the US in NATO. Europe should be, and I'm sure is, forgetting about getting any support from the US until Trump (and any of his supporters) is gone.
