I kept putting more & more info in the description section of the #Monsterdon watch party collection here on NeoDB / Eggplant.place, then cut a lot because it was getting super long. finished watching The Swift Sword 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑 I've dealt with some confusing plots in kung fu films, but way too often in this I found myself thinking "who the hell are these people and what the hell is going on???" Watched in #KungFuSat watch party on Mastodon #NeoDB

finished watching Gappa, the Triphibian Monster 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 Big budget kaiju movie full of tropes, but maybe originated some of them? Watched in #MonsterMiru watch party on Mastodon after #Monsterdon #NeoDB

finished watching Class of 1999 II: The Substitute 🌕🌑🌑🌑🌑 Sequel far less entertaining than its predecessors. Watched in #MonsterMiru watch party after #Monsterdon on Mastodon #NeoDB

finished watching Waxwork II: Lost in Time 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 Riffs on multiple films & genres, veering from slapstick to homage. Gets bogged down for too long in mediaeval fantasy before picking up pace again. Somehow managed to get a ream of cameos ranging from Bruce Campbell to John Ireland. Closes with a hiphop theme, as was de rigeur for early 90s Hollywood, but this one's a banger from the L.A. Posse. Suck it, hataz! Watched in #MonsterMiru watch party after #Monsterdon on Mastodon. #NeoDB
