Not been to FoD in aaaages. Car park has been expanded, and the shop has moved, oooh!
Coffee is still lukewarm, shop’s prices are still mental, and there’s still flip flop wearing day trippers on the red trails. Boo!
But FoD’s great for little shredders. I just followed a tiny kid (like 6 or 7 yo) down count down, who was giving it full beans all the way down. Didn’t have to brake for them once! The smile on their face at the bottom :D

Big shout out to the cafe crew, as well, who were the most polite and accommodating I’ve ever come across. No notes.
It’s definitely going into our winter rotation. 20 nicker a day, and it’s faster to ride an emtb up to the top than wait for an uplift. Tidy. 👌
