i really do wonder if those "click to look up word" links that Reddit automatically applies to text actually get clicked, by literally anyone
the amount of clicks they get must be incredibly fucked up low, and they're probably wasting resources analysing which words to put it on, not to mention them being distracting and ugly

@timagal@mastodon.social GrapheneOS has their own SUPL (supl.grapheneos.org), which you can use, albeit it is merely a proxy that strips out as much identifying info and such
and you can also self host your own proxy if desired
it always surprises me that it took until Android 16 for Android to bother with adding back lockscreen widgets
it further boggles my mind why the lockscreen shortcuts doesn't have an API for 3rd-party apps to add stuff to, or even just the ability to open a specific app, etc
or even the fact that Android doesn't have an equivalent feature to Apple's lockscreen glances, that again, has APIs for apps to add stuff to
like, these are all features that iOS has somehow had for ages now
