Queer.

Work In Progress, always.

Unlikely to approve follow requests. It's not you, it's me! (Especially if I have no idea who you are.)

Fuck so-called "AI".

I don't boost undescribed images.

I speak English and German, and can read a little bit of French.

Covid cautious

@vga256@mastodon.tomodori.net I remember Ultima IX being the first time a I read a magazine going "Thought this was promo art on the cover? Think again, it's an unedited screenshot!" It was either GameStar or PC Player, those there the two I was reading every month (for a while, then I dropped PC Player, GameStar had been founded by people who left that mag, and many others had left as well)

@vga256@mastodon.tomodori.net Yes! That was the one! I had NeoPaint, and I somehow learned about NeoBook, probably through programs that used it?

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social Uuuugh, I remember installing Windows 3.14 from like a hundred of these fucking things. And of course I dropped the box and had to find them all, and of course our computer room still had the traditional shag carpet... took all fucking day to find them all and get them back in the right order.

@vga256@mastodon.tomodori.net I remember something similar for DOS that was used quite a bit, with instantly recognizable UI elements... but I can't for the life of me remember the name. Come on brain it's only been a littler over 30 years... :neodog_think_googly:

@vga256@mastodon.tomodori.net VGA was so flexible, quite amazing! And I do love high res, low color art, Japanese computer games got incredible results with just 16 colors.
