Our internet has been out for most of today, and it’s the longest outage in four years of living here. Strange.

A coworker asked how my day was going. I told them I need two keyboards and four hands.

Work shipped out my replacement laptop yesterday, for delivery today. That's fine and all, but UPS is 90 seconds away from missing the 2PM-6PM window.

The cats know something is up because I pulled out their carriers. Smokey is afraid of emergency alert sounds and always hides in the guest room under the bed, so at least he picks an interior space away from windows. Have a feeling it's going to be a wild evening.

I never thought I’d see my hometown on a storm chaser’s YouTube Live but life is full of surprises.

Meteorologically speaking, Wisconsin appears to have had their shit rocked today. 😳 I wonder how strong storms in Chicago will be, since it was sunny and hot most of the day.

I forgot I took tomorrow off, which is a sign I really needed to take the day off, and now I’m very excited to have tomorrow off.
