I architect and develop web systems to move data for a very big non-commercial organisation. I'd love to make something that improves the world for everyone though. Maybe one day?

@davey_cakes@mastodon.ie He did address that in the piece, that there were actors who initiated some of this with histories of bad faith claims, but not the far right itself, and that the far right in general got involved after it took off. The core claims are not of the far right, but they certainly got involved and attached their grievances to it.
I think the histories of the spokespeople is worth paying attention to.

This came up elsewhere, but there was that whole business with the Raspberry Pi 4 and the accident with the charger design. It didn't work with all cables.

Now, I have a separate issue with the whole blockade versus protest aspect (which is to say, we’ll all have fuel and food shortages to force the Government to give tax breaks to one sector) but guess that goes into a different direction.
That list going around of countries that have straight up refused to participate in the USA’s war against Iran. It does not have Ireland on it. By the end of the salad presentation tomorrow, there’s every chance that we’ll suddenly turn out to be the USA’s sole military supporter in that war.
