Chat is generally bad for forum stuff, but e.g. slack at least displays threads in a sensible way and seems to have a functioning search.

i'm not sure what huch made me check out astro for the first time (yeah, i know, late to the party). but it's perfect for the current project. and my 11ty-loving heart hurts to admit it's a lot better suited than 11ty with webc, which i tried initially.
one thing i never seem to get right is when and where to apply aspect-ratio. guess, i'll have to queue up a blog post for this.
