This is my favorite: Jack blissfully enjoying cuddling with my wife a few days after he was adopted.

Just before we started dating, my wife had a then-new 1968 Corvette with a 427, triple carbs no less. Even though we knew each other and worked together, she wouldn't let me drive it. She traded it in on a 1969 Impala which we drove on our honeymoon and in which we brought home our first child.
Not as cool as the 'Vette, though.
Wish Jack a Happy Third Birthday!
The picture on the left was taken on the day after we adopted him from the cat rescue. He was 5 and a half months old then. The picture on the right was taken a few minutes ago.
Mama's boy both then and now.

Tudie is in an extra-snuggly mood today and seems quite happy to use my stomach as a pillow. Hard to tell from this angle but she's a very pretty lynxpoint cat.
Tudie has really been my snuggle buddy lately but Jack wanted some snuggle time too so he wormed his way in and took possession of my arm.

So sorry for your loss. A picture of my beloved and greatly-missed Jax is pinned in my profile.

They also made possible the serendipitous discovery of really-interesting things you weren't looking for that you spotted while thumbing through the cards looking for something specific.

I fully agree! That's why I decline to answer any surveys.
Worst case was a certain retailer who would send me a "How did you like the product?" survey *before the product shipped!*

And Isaac Newton's brother Figby who invented a cookie now named after him.
Hey, Mr. Peabody told Sherman this so it must be true.
