Also @keyoxide@fosstodon.org is quite useful for decentralized verification, although it's quite nerdy, as it's based on PGP

But yeah the main purpose is something similar to Keybase. If you know some online identity of a person you could verify they are the same person somewhere else...

@q@glauca.space hey, I was just watching a talk on your zügli.app stuff and wondered if I could maybe get a pkpass for my smartcard Deutschlandticket, sadly it looks like this is only possible with iOS currently. Is the code for the bridge public somewhere so we could build an Android clone?

@iso718@graz.social @keyoxide@fosstodon.org no that's not really how it works. Keyoxide fundamentally just defines how you could include identity proofs into your PGP Key. It then also provides some interfaces how others could verify those proofs.
By DNS TXT you mean the website proof of Keyoxide?

@DrewKadel@social.coop what many people also do not realize is that it has no consciousness like a real brain. So it can't for example realize it's totally making up things... IMHO this problem is very self made though, as media tries to let people believe ChatGPT and companions are real "artificial intelligence" and not just very good neural networks...
