EfM was well represented at the Full and Equal conference.
The Full and Equal conference in Minneapolis ended with a joyous Eucharist at St. Mark’s Cathedral. The Most Rev. Sean Rowe presided and the Rt. Rev. Gene Robinson preached. After the service, all the LGBTQI+ clergy present were invited to stand in front of the altar.
I learned Spanish over 40 years ago. I was never proficient and I rarely have the chance to practice. But, I retain enough to work on bilingual training materials.
Most of my dreams have an anxiety theme: finding my car, finishing a work assignment, registering for a course I need to graduate, getting through passport control, etc.
I finally got my campaign yard signs last night. Early voting in New York begins on October 24 and runs through November 1. Election day is November 3. For the first time in years, we have a real chance of flipping NY-23.

Lockdown lifted. “Our program will begin on Thursday morning with an opportunity to gather for prayer and reflection — grieving those lost and injured and recommitting to the work of standing against the scourge of gun violence that infects our nation. “
Sadly, there was a fatal shooting near our hotel in downtown Minneapolis just before we arrived. Massive law enforcement response. It took awhile to find a safe route through the perimeter.
