Have setup my own Mastodon instance in combinatie with WordPress for me and my family as a private social media to share updates and photos from abroad. A separate account to post with to followers on that account only.

Which results in a way better mobile posting experience for me and beter reading experience for the family.

Thank you @alex ♥️

@dvk@toot.re +1 for Direct Admin and even the oldskool skin. I have a server with WHM / CPanel... Always searching for shit. ModSecurity always blocks me out of the server. WPSpinUp if you want production ready environments without much of a hassle

@mbootsman En de titel kunnen wijzigen van een opgeslagen locatie zou handig zijn. Ik sla nu thuis en zo een andere locatie op in de zelfde dorp en dan er bijv. "Schatkist" of "2 KG" bij zetten ofzo

@simon@dewp.space that GartherPress where you were talking about. Is that a DACH setup or pure DE? Here at WPmeetup Salzburg were looking for a central place / email account to communicate from.
