@nopatience@swecyb.com @dalai@toots.ch not sure if you mean all the data you have stored on your NAS is also stored on another device (which would make it a backup), or if you mean to say that raid is a backup? If the latter, then for all that is holy please oh please make an actual backup as quickly as possible, as raid is not nor should it ever be considered a backup 😓 Have you looked into something like Hetzner's storage box offering? It's a very affordable option to consider for off-site backups.

@nopatience@swecyb.com @dalai@toots.ch I'd really highly recommend it. Just start with the irreplaceable stuff and go from there, you can scale it up as you see fit. Back when I was still using Macs I was using Backblaze Personal for years. I moved over to their B2 service once I built a NAS/server. Only this year did I switch toHetzner's storage box. I've been using Duplicacy for years now, but there's plenty more solutions to choose from. If you can, please, do it quick! Future you will thank you.
