So here's the pitch:

It's Eternal September, but for Patch Tuesday.

I wrote about the time I caught Claude trying to delete all of my tests (and how I fixed it) https://blog.fsck.com/2026/04/30/that-time-it-tried-to-delete-all-my-tests/

I'm spending a ton of time making software these days, but I'm never working with source code. It seems like my entire workflow is Markdown files.
I'm pleased to debut Clearance, Prime Radiant's new dedicated "Markdown browser."
I designed it to focus on reading and navigating between docs, but it has a bit of light editing support as well. It's the perfect app to read all those markdown files your agent makes.

https://primeradiant.com/blog/2026/what-we-are-working-on.html

First post on the new corporate blog.

Also, a new engineering notebook tool I knocked together over the weekend to help you comprehend what you've been working on with your coding agents.

You know what?

Today feels like an excellent day for a sale. Just because.

10% off EVERYTHING on https://shop.keyboard.io.

And $50 off the Model 100, our gorgeous ergonomic keyboard with a milled hardwood enclosure.

Keyboards ship free to the US (at least until tariffs kick in on May 2.)

I am *so* amused that my AI groupchats are all frantically trying to get their hands on copies of @cstross@wandering.shop's Accelerando...because clawdbot/moltbot/openclaw have been cosplaying fast-takeoff sentient AI lobsters.

I'm pleased to announce that Superpowers is now available as a plugin in OpenAI Codex! We even got a cameo in their launch video.

We just published a couple of the projects I've been working on this spring. https://primeradiant.com/blog/2026/greenfield-and-iterative-development.html

Greenfield is a set of tools to extract behavioral specs from existing codebases.

Iterative Development is a set of add-ons to Superpowers to tackle implementations of much larger specs.

I built a little tool to extract your Kindle notes and highlights in a format your agents can read: https://primeradiant.com/blog/2026/highlights.html

Superpowers 5 is out today: https://blog.fsck.com/2026/03/09/superpowers-5/

There are a bunch of improvements inside, but my favorite new feature is the new 'visual brainstorming' workflow that uses your browser to help talk through anything where ASCII art might not be high enough fidelity.

@cstross@wandering.shop (Replying from my fediverse account) While very vibecoded, Claude did sort of the right thing on BitWarden, 1Password and Keychain Access and entirely blocked those windows from the window list. So no screenshots of them ever. It missed Passwords.app. That'll be fixed in the next build. OCR is 100% on device, thanks to Apple giving us nice APIs. Screenshots and thumbnails are never written to disk. No network connections are made. (Updating the docs to make this clearer. TY)

@tom_armstrong@mastodon.cloud @evan@cosocial.ca @hongminhee@hollo.social @simon@fedi.simonwillison.net so to me it’s a lot like when I became a manager. It is a different job. It’s also a much higher impact job. I can’t speak for anybody else’s company or work experience. But at my new company, we are 100% AI written code. That’s not exactly being sprung on anyone though. That’d been the deal since the beginning.

@arosien Obsidian is great for maintaining a corpus of markdown documents in a vault. It is 100% not the tool I want for "open random markdown documents quickly from arbitrary projects. "

@Annalee at one point I thought about and actually prototyped a desktop version, but it started to feel a little too much like an end run around monetization for YouTube creators, which felt a bit icky.

And yeah, I go to great lengths to avoid seeing ads. It was just the idea of building (and possibly profiting from) the ad circumvention technology didn’t sit right.
