Is Mastodon still trying to make us call posts "toots" or did they rightly memory hole that
Doing a writing retreat with some friends and now that I have the time and space to just put my head down and work, I'm finally discovering that I fucking suck at fiction
One of the many problems with Mastodon is every time someone has a cool instance name I want to be on that one
I gotta hand it to Mastodon, it took YEARS for me to first think "I fucking hate it here" about Twitter

@phire THAT SAID I am literally trying to avoid writing an essay right now so I may have more resources in the future to figure out what I'm doing wrong! But there are people (Nicole Chung is another example) who I can follow from my zirk.us account but not from here
I'm giving it a shot but guys... the app ain't good (there are several people I don't seem to be able to follow without logging in on the specific server they're using). Thank you Jenny for making a place where the local tab is nice, though!
