@mbskis@mindly.social @bostonbruinsgameday@a.gup.pe @spelled_with_a_k@bardown.space Nice job on the ticket plan! Good luck to your and the #NHLBruins! All I'm asking for is for us to stay healthy
@auzzy@mastodon.world if it is any consolation, I remember and am pretty sure I had that game! You slide the cover back to see how the plays worked out.

I really enjoyed the virtual screening of the newly restored Prisioneros de la tierra (Prisoners of the Land), one of Argentinian cinemas masterpieces, from 1939. It was "live" so we were all watching at the same time, with a bit of commentary from Scorsese's Film Foundation and fellow viewers. Amazing cinematography and bleak and heartbreaking story. Found via Ty Burr's Substack newsletter, which is a must subscribe for #film buff. Find out more about it here: https://tyburrswatchlist.substack.com/p/tonight-only-prisioneros-de-la-terra

Another great day weather wise today, although I really didn't take advantage of it much yesterday. Heck, I didn't even take the doggos out for a walk, which is a real shame. I have to run some errands, so I'm not sure it is going to happen today either. Poor guys. I can hear the turkeys gobbling all around the house. There was a story of a mail guy who got attacked by one of the buggers and now needs hip surgery. I've seen flocks of up to 15 or more marauding thru the neighborhood! #today

Ho boy, today promises to be full of major suckage in the #saltmine today. Tuesday's are a get nothing done because I have to go to lots of meetings days in general, but every other week it is even worse and today is one of those weeks. Of course, I didn't get much done yesterday and I don't even have meetings to blame. Finding it hard to focus. I am terrible at doing that if I'm not interested. And I am far beyond Not Interested territory, well into Quiet Quitting Country.

Stay safe. Wash your hands. Wear your N95 mask. Watch your distance. Vaccinate! Boost!
@reidrac@social.sdf.org how has the responsiveness been? I have a new account ( @jda@social.sdf.org ) and am just about ready to pull the trigger.
@terryflynn@mastodonapp.uk @cstross@wandering.shop luckily, I try not to work very hard any more, so not as much staring at the computer screen 👿

Hmm, interesting word
@cstross@wandering.shop yeah, I recently updated my computer (ie, monofocal) glasses and was amazed at how much clearer everything was! It pretty funny how you can just adjust to blurry vision and not even know you are doing it.
You still have a few hours to watch PRISIONEROS DE LA TIERRA "considered one of the greatest films ever made in Argentina." It's really good and shocking for a film from 1939
