mastodon 4.7.3Hacker, Independent creator, self-hoster, and counterculture enthusiast. I publish The Grist, an independent publication on technology and civil liberties, run stickertop.art, a gallery of sticker covered laptops, and of course zinedrop.com, a zine discovery and sharing directory. Decades in the hacker community taught me that technology is best when built to connect, not consume. Tilting at windmills is kind of my thing.

@benbrown@masto.hackers.town that's what I love the most about Apple TVs "for all mankind" the subtle technological tweaks that have taken place because the timeline is different. They call the iPhone the Newton
Had a great time at the meeting tonight. On the way to the diner, I fell and face planted my face is scratched and bloodied. Luckily my nose and teeth are fine. Now I know how Tony Hawk must feel. #NYC2600

Whoever is writing the chyrons at CNN deserves a raise
My faceplant from Friday is healing nicely. Although coming back from NYC2600 banged up and bruised feels a bit...... Nostalgic
