#WilliamShatner urges people to move toward #plantbased eating, saying that humanity is “killing this beautiful planet.”
Shatner highlights the suffering of animals and the growing environmental damage caused by human activity, action cannot be delayed.
His warning aligns with research from the University of Oxford showing that plantbased diets can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, land use, and water #pollution by up to 75 percent compared to high-meat diets.

Earthling Ed:
Isn’t it strange that we can’t bare to look at something something that we claim is moral, acceptable and even natural?
We turn away from animal suffering, the suffering that we pay for, because it pains us to watch someone else suffer. Yet we pay for, perpetuate and defend the very industry that we’re so upset and distressed by.

If we can live without harming animals, why wouldn’t we?

'Humans force into existence more than 1.5 billion pigs every year. We victimize them, confine them, then violently kill them without any remorse. All for something we don’t even need. What does this say about us? Be a friend to pigs and all animals.'

@MsDropbear42@blahaj.zone I was eating a sandwich with this #vegan cheese when I read your posts... but I see you got a little help from a teaspoon of peanut butter... :)
The biggest obstacle that #veganism faces is that people simply don't give a shit.
